訪問時に受付で用件を伝える

商談のために先方に出向き、受付で用件を伝えるときの英語フレーズ。

受付パターン1

  • Good morning. I’m Taro Suzuki from ABC Company.
    I would like to see Mr.Brown, please.
  • Do you have an appointment?
  • I have an appointment with him at ten.
  • I see. Wait a moment, please.

(訳)

  • おはようございます。ABC社の鈴木太郎と申します。
    ブラウンさんにお目にかかりたいのですが
  • お約束がおありですか?
  • 10時にお会いする約束をしています
  • かしこまりました。少々お待ちくださいませ

受付パターン2

  • I do not have an appointment, but I want to see Mr. Brown of the Overseas Department urgently.
    He is supposed to be expecting me at this time.
  • Mr. Brown will be ready to see you shortly.
  • Oh thank you. Shall I wait here?
  • Sorry, but would you please take the elevator up to the 7th floor?

  • 面会の予約はしていませんが、海外部のブラウンさんに至急お目にかかりたいのですが。
    彼はいま私をお待ちになっているはずです。
  • ブラウンはもうすぐお会いする用意ができます
  • ありがとうございます。ここでお待ちしましょうか?
  • 恐れ入りますが、エレベーターで7階へ行っていただけますか?

社名や部署を伝える時は、自分の名前を名乗ってからfromを使って示します。社外の人に伝えるときには、withを使うこともあります。
(例:I’m Taro Suzuki with ABC Company.)
